CapitaLand India Trust acquires 1.4 million sq ft IT SEZ project in Pune for Rs 7.73 billion
CapitaLand India Trust (CLINT) just bought BlueRidge 3 Phase 1, a big building where lots of companies work, in Hinjawadi, Pune. It’s really huge, about 1.4 million square feet! They paid a lot of money for it, around Rs 7.73 billion (S$124.64 million).
CLINT made this purchase deal with Nalanda Shelter. They talked about it first on June 14, 2019. Right now, around 60% of the building is rented out to big companies like Panasonic Avionics, Aptiv Components, Forvia, Axtria, Cerence Services, Plastic Omnium, and Wurth Information Technologies. They’re still finding renters for the rest of the building.
Sanjeev Dasgupta, who is the boss of CapitaLand India Trust Management (they manage CLINT), said, “Buying BlueRidge 3 Phase 1 helps us get stronger in Hinjawadi.” Now, with this new building, CLINT’s total space they own is about 21 million square feet. That’s about 7.3% more space than before!
