IndoSpace to invest Rs 700 crore in Pune’s industrial land
IndoSpace, the leading inventor and proprietor of Grade A artificial and logistics premises in India, has blazoned its plan to invest further than Rs 700 crore in acquiring around 100 acres of land in the Chakan- Talegaon region of Maharashtra. The company inked a memorandum of understanding( MoU) with the state government at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Friday.
The investment is anticipated to produce new employment openings and boost the profitable growth of the region, which is a mecca for machine, bus- element and FMCG diligence. Some of the prominent companies operating in the area include L’Oreal, Volkswagen, Bajaj, Mahindra & Mahindra, Mercedes Benz, Bridgestone, GE and Hyundai.
IndoSpace formerly managed over 500 acres across nine artificial and logistics premises in the Chakan area, with nearly10.5 million sq ft of erected- up space. These premises are strategically located fore-commerce and third-party logistics( 3PL) companies looking to speed up distribution in the Pune region. The company has invested over Rs 3,500 crore in developing these premises .
IndoSpace also has plans to further expand its presence in the Chakan- Talegaonmicro-market and is in the process of acquiring fresh 200- 250 acres through MIDC allotment and private accession over the coming two times. With this expansion, IndoSpace aims to consolidate its position as a top provider of artificial and logistics premises in the region.

This collaboration will propel IndoSpace’s expansion in the Chakan- Talegaon region, creating sustainable and effective artificial spaces that will drive India’s profitable growth, said Rajesh Jaggi, Vice Chairman- Real Estate, Everstone Group, the parent company of IndoSpace.
IndoSpace has a public network of 52 logistics premises with 58 million sq ft delivered and under development across 11 metropolises. It also provides customised results for its guests, ranging from transnational pots to small and medium enterprises.
